"My $120 package was stolen because fed…"
My $120 package was stolen because fed ex did not deliver to the appropriate place at my apartment complex. I filed a claim with fed ex and emailed the goodwill seller. Fed ex doesn’t care, goodwill doesn’t care. I’m out $120. Goodwill mostly uses fed ex so I won’t be back to this site.

"This is not the first time but this…"
This is not the first time but this time I bought an $8 book. My total was over $30 Ridiculous.Your taking money from the poor and suspose to be helping them.Should not even have auctions because you take donated items that are higher priced and auction them for ridiculous prices. They should be left in the store for someone who really wants them

"I wonder if they are shill bid"
I wonder if they are doing "shill bidding"?
Meaning some employees bumping the bids up right at the end of the auction when they see that the highest bidder is quite a bit more than the next bidder.

"Closed account for no reason and won't respond to messages."
I had never created an account before last week and thought I had stumbled across an awesome way to save money on Legos. I spent time searching through the items up for bid and lost a few auctions. After a few days I get an error message when I try to log in that says to contact support@. I go ahead and do that just to get a copy and paste message later about how my account was "inactivated" due to nonpayment of wins using previous accounts. I've never had another account! Wanting to get my account back I wrote back a lengthy message on the reasons I think they could've made the error and why those reasons would be incorrect. No response.

I get the feeling that whatever problem they have with their system that causes this issue (since I'm reading others have dealt with this, too), they don't care to fix it and they definitely don't want to talk about their mistakes and try to make things right.

"HAIL MARY"
I HAVE MADE OVER ONE HUNDRED PURCHASES ON SHOPGOODWILL.COM. THREE CAME THROUGH NOT AS EXPECTED. FOR THE MOST PART SHOPGOOODWILL.COM IS A GREAT PLACE TO BUY INVENTORY FOR RESALE. SOME OF THE PRICES ESPECIALLY ON MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS ARE INSANELY INEXPENSIVE. I HAVE FOUND ABOUT 30 PERCENT OF ALL INVENTORY FOR SALE TO BE A GENUINE GIFT FROM HEAVEN FOR RESALE PROFIT. LIKE EVERYTHING ELSE IN LIFE NOTHING IS EASY AND IT DOES TAKE SOME DILIGENCE AND EFFORT TO FIND YOUR TREASURE

"Horrible Company! Buyer beware!"
I purchased an item through ShopGoodwill.com and they sent me the wrong item. They asked I return the item and I did. Then they never sent me my item! $70 dollars and they don't care! 4weeks later I am getting a refund! We shall see if that happens!
This is a fraudulent company who doesn't care!

"I really want to love this site, but they are liars."
I really want to love this site. Sometimes it works out, but the SHIPPING and HANDLING prices are truly false and outrageous. The constantly and consistently make everything weigh much more than the actual weight. They do not offer media mail prices for legitimate media mail items. These are used, resale items and this goodwill site gouges people on shipping and handling. It's just wrong, and it's stupid!!!! They don't reply to messages about this either. Very very unethical.

"This companies shipping department sucks"
FedEx and Goodwill are the worst $#*!ing companies. One doesn't know how to pack an item for shipping and the other apparently delivers your package by dribbling it like a basketball across the country.

"Truly appalling customer service"
Goodwill by name but not by nature. Apart from the quite astronomical shipping and handling fees charged by many of the selling locations and the often very poor handling of fragile items (I have had 7 pairs of silver earrings shipped together in a paper bag so they arrived damaged), the customer service I have received from *******@shopgoodwill.com has been largely inadequate and frequently unresponsive. I have had multiple emails go unanswered and incomplete responses to issues raised when I do get a response. Individual selling locations vary in their customer service response, some are better than others. One of my biggest bugbears is the horrendous selling platform that doesn't always combine shipping on multiple purchases, and Goodwill's policy of banning buyers from bidding if they have 3 outstanding unpaid items. Because the shipping is so high and I am a reseller, I always try to win a few items from the same location so as to spread the cost across my purchases. Very occasionally I have missed a deadline, but considering my overall spend with shopgoodwill.com over a long period of time, you'd think they could overlook the occasional slip up. Also on occasion that failure to pay on time has been because the selling location took so long to respond to my request to adjust shipping on multiple purchases that the payment deadline timed out. It should not take 5 days or more to respond to customers, especially when the selling location's policy is that they will not refund you on shipping if you pay before they adjust it! I just had a very sub-par experience with the Easter Seals MN location where this happened and they refused to cancel my entire order, even though they had relisted one of the items I won. They don't give a hoot about customers, and they don't give two hoots how supportive a customer has been in the past. Do yourself a favour and shop with a charity who is more deserving.

"I have bought many items on goodwill…"
I have bought many items on goodwill online store. I ALWAYS PAY WAY TO MUCH FOR SHIPPING. It is unreal to pay 20 $ shipping on a vest weighing 1lb or less. I continue to bid and buy knowing this and complaining about it. Recently items I have been the only bidder and have set bids 20 $ higher . The day before the auction ends I will find a bidder with a HIDDEN BID!! I have tried to find any info on how this is done on their website, Help site. Customer service page. Have even sent an email to gain knowledge how this is done. I have never got an answer. My other complaint is that Many many times an item that is new and very cheap that I want to bid on says local pickup only. It can't be the size of the item because the same item used or not new from several other states is able to be shipped of course with a healty shipping fee. I don't mind paying for the item and shipping if it still is less price then buying at a store. It never seems to fail though these items for some strange reason is not able to be shipped

"Ripped off"
I purchased what was labeled a Lionel right turn switch for model trains. The photographer piled up a few pieces of track in a way that I couldn't verify either way if the switch was there. It turns out that there were only a few pieces of rusted track, and no switch. The track in it's current shape was worth about 25 cents. I emailed Goodwill, and they basically offered me nothing, and used the "it's a charity" line. I didn't ask for a refund, and let it go.
It happened again with a supposed model locomotive. I rarely buy anything from them anymore because of those incidents. It was pretty obvious that the person(s) who put together the auctions was hiding the fact that the items were not as described. I consider it to be poor business, and they have lost a considerable amount of mine. I spend quite a bit on model trains.

One other issue: most stores have reasonable shipping, but there are a few in Oregon and California that jack the shipping up so high that the items are no longer even close to a decent deal. These items usually only command one or two bids, and sell for much less than they should, all because of inflated shipping rates.

"Shipping"
The item price for a winning bid is reasonable until you get into shipping and handling.
Example I win a bid on an item for $10.99 after shipping and handling fees my item cost me over $25.00. This is ridiculous considering my item didn't even weigh that much.

"All my items didn't turn on when they stated they would lazy incompetent workers don't buy there"
I have bought 5 items from Goodwill online. Four of them stated they turn on but didn't know if they worked. All 5 didn't turn on none of them worked. The last item was a VCR for $10 when I saw the $15 shipping charge, I contacted the auction by email and asked the person if I could just pay for the VCR and donate it back to Goodwill they said yes. Every time I tried to enter an auction it stated in red letters, I owe for the VCR that I paid for and that I would be kicked out of future auctions if I didn't pay. I then paid the extra $21 they shipped me the VCR that stated it would turn on and of course it didn't turn on. I don't believe anything from Goodwill works. DON'T BUY FROM Goodwill.com! If the volunteers and paid labor are too lazy to plug in the product then they should get another job.

“No it's not FedEx it goodwill marking up the shipping price they will make a few dollars off every shipping label if something will ship for 14 dollars FedEx will charge 18 to 20 dollars for it and keep the extra and print out a label with the amount that FedEx charges FedEx will not cheat some one to big of a company to do that they have pride and do not want to go to court over shipping cost that are deemed to high”

“Goodwill make extra money off the FedEx labels most if not all shipping cost you see on shopgoodwill are higher then what FedEx charges goodwill will make a few dollars off every label in turns adds up to a lot of extra income for a non profit organizations they are like any other company they have CEO that are looking to make any extra money they can so for now goodwill the name means nothing now not like it was many years ago so you are better off shipping the goodwill EBay store there you can get your money back is some thing is not right”
